After reading a few articles i still believe that Kilgore is a sneaky little turd. He stutters, is very rigid, and shaky. Not being confident in your opinions and being a hypocrite is not exactly a good way to be if you want to win an election. He didn't answer questions. He changed the question to gas tax when he was asked about roads and transportation.

Kaine was confident in his beliefs and would not stop talking about how his politics and his religion mesh. He occasionally answered questions indirectly but for the most part he was direct.He uses factual information to pull from and goes very much by the law of VA.

1. Research the impact of Hurricane Katrina on gasoline prices. Why did it cause an increase in gas prices? What are some problems that this increase may cause? What are some things that are being done to control costs?
Hurricane Katrina had a major impact on oil and gas prices because Louisiana was a major inlet in oil imports. We will most likely run out of gas completely which effects the food industry, heating in the winter months, inflation

2. Research current gasoline prices across the country. Write a summary on why some states or areas have higher gasoline prices than others. Think about the area's location and population, does that affect their gasoline prices? Include current prices in your explanation.
California’s highest gas price is in San Bernadino at $3.47 a gallon and New York’s highest gas price is in Amityville at $3.99 a gallon. We suppose the difference in gas prices in each state is dependent on the source of their supply. Since New York was the highest price and well populated of the states we looked up, we chose Rhode Island which isnt that populated and their gas is $3.46 a gallon. So whether they are populated or not the gas is expensive.

3. Describe the changes in gasoline prices in the last fifty years.
The changes are definitely major but it seems to only increased when something effects the entire country.

4. Compare gas prices around the world. Do certain regions have lower prices than others? Which countries have the highest prices and which have the lowest? How does the current prices in the United States compare to the rest of the world?

wow...everytime i hear about bush these days, hes having a great time while im sitting here in school worrying if a plane is going to crash into the city i live in...again.

"hangin' loose"...yeah and the rest of the world is worrying about poverty, death, and the other things that they dont have complete control over.

we must have a lot of money hanging around if bush has spent just about the whole year on his "little" vaca...whatever...he needs to get back in the whitehouse and do his duty....

and obsession with love handles...my word...i exercise alot but i think that this "man" is a straight up woman. evenmore than i am. unbelievable...for all you bush supporters, what were you thinking?

my opinion/views-

My opinion of the Uzbekistanese Senate vote is as follows. I am not suprised at all that the head of Uzbekistan Kamirov and his staunch supporters (i.e. lackies) overwhelmingly voted to evict our military presence within 6 months.

It has happened all too frequently that whenever a country is asked or statements made that don't agree with their President's view they immediately want to either remove all military bases or end all support of our Government. This move I'm sure was discussed prior to the Uzekisstan's Senate vote by our Government.

The only part that really disturbs me is that Russia and China are chiming in on the move and are now playing up to the Uzbek leader. The air base in question would be vital in case of trouble in the area.

This seems like nothing more than "chest pounding" on the Uzbek's part with a little dose of courage from the Russians and Chinese. Before all is said and done with we will be back in the good graces with the Uzbek's because of the importance of having access to a base in that region!
